Why do you use PayPal for your subscriptions?

Quite simply because we find that it allows our users to use any currency, is free and simple to use, it is totally secure and it helps us to take immediate action when a payment is made by advising us instatntl that you have paid. Not only that, it costs us less than a Merchant account, which means that we can pass on those savings in our prices to you.

How do I know I can rely on your hosting service?

We work in partnership with one of the largest and most trusted Hosting Companies - Ace-net - and share a small part of their enormous hosting hardware. So, even if Otter 2000 should cease to trade (and we have no intention of doing that!) your hosting would remain safe.

Why do you insist on a 12 month contract for monthly paid subscriptions?

Simply because we have to pay for the Domain Name registration, the Hosting service, and for the Web Site Builder up front. Therefore, we do not make any profit from monthly subscriptions until most of the monthly instalments have been paid.

What if I do not want to continue my subsbsription?

Of course, we cannot stop you from deciding you do not want the service. However, we have paid up front for your Domain Name, and we would not be willing to release that until the annual subscrition has been paid in full.

I have tried using the Demo of your Web Builder, but have had problems understanding how it works. Can you help?

Certainly. If you have difficulty using the Demo, contact us at support@otter2000.com telling us the problem and we will try to help. However, we should say that there is an on-line help facility which you can use whilst in the demo mode that should answer most questions. Try that first. You can of course, use the demo as many times as you like for practice purposes.
