Fanstory is designed by writers for writers. Some members are published authors, others are new to the game. If you want honest appraisal of your work, then you should give it a try.
You can present your story chapter by chapter to this site, and you are guaranteed to get reviews from other Fanstory members. I found this an invaluable tool. Readers picked up all sorts of things that I hadn't considered. Some will spot grammatical errors, others will question the action or reaction of your characters. I really do recommend giving this a try. It's not free, but it's inexpensive.
